When Jasjeet joined our school it was found that he was a very emotional child, he has a cerebral palsy associated condition. He was not able to read and write at all but now he has developed many good changes in him
His left side of the body being frail he was unable to do many things, through physiotherapy he has improved strength of his right side so as he can now do many things by himself
He tries to do any work with perfection even if he has to put more effort to do any particular work.
He easily manages to do many daily living activities except bathing.
He has a grave problem to accept any change in himself or in his environment. School is continuously working on his therapy; earlier he was not comfortable to cut his hair and beard but now he is himself aware of cutting grown hair. He still has problem changing his clothes according to weather which is in the progress of improvement.
He is able to write his name, mother’s name & father’s name in English. He can also write his name & father’s name in Punjabi.
In mathematics he can write counting up to hundred, he has number concepts up to 10. He also understands basic time concepts. He is able to recognize the different values of currency paper.
He is capable to express his thoughts up to some extent.
He has also played bocce and won a medal in it.
In the vocational area, he helps in pottery coloring.
