• Nitin was about six years old when he joined our school and he is a Down syndrome child. In the beginning, he came under the home management program, then he was granted regular admission and he merged himself in the environment of the school.
  • By the time we have seen many improvements in his daily living activities like eating, personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, etc.
  • Academically he has learned to hold a pencil and he can now write his name independently and currently he is learning to write his father’s name. He can also do coloring in big pictures.
  • He knows concepts of big & small, day & night, in & out, transports, today-tomorrow-yesterday, counting from 1-5.
  • He can understand and explain personal needs.
  • He developed good physical strength through general exercise. He had played in bocce game in name of the school. He is very good at dance and he had participated in dance events held by the school
  • He helps his family in household chores like brooming, cloth folding, and dusting, etc. In the vocational area, he helps in pottery painting.
  • We have remarked that this child has enough potential to give better results but due to some personal reasons, he has less presence in the school.
